NNT is a pioneer in the industrial sector, which combines the advantages of nanotechnologies with the well-known potential of boron-based chemistry. NNT owns unique detonation chambers, which can withstand the huge pressures and temperatures required to produce nano-structured materials. NNT is momentarily able to produce several tons of high-tech material per year taking the aggregate production volume of its plants near Istanbul and in West Turkey into account:

It is a big advantage that Turkey has the largest boron reserves worldwide (64%) such that NNT has easy access to essential raw materials such as boron trioxide (B2O3) are available in high quality and in large quantities.
