NNT is momentarily able to produce several tons of high-tech material per year taking the aggregate production volume of its plants near Istanbul and in Kirklareli into account:

Nanoboron (NBN) 150 Tons
Cubic boron nitride (cBN) 6 Tons (30 million carats)
Wurtzit boron nitride (wBN) 5 Tons
Boron diamond powder (MCDP) 5 Tons (25 million carats)

The process technology knowhow required to produce these materials in such large quantities has been developed by NNT’s scientists and is under the company’s ownership.

NNT sees the successful commercialization of products emerging from the use of the produced high-tech materials as most challenging task of its business. Together with experts from the National Boron Research Institute BOREN and other scientific consultants from universities all over Turkey, NNT’s R&D team has defined several target applications for commercializing its high-tech materials in the near future. Some of these applications are shown in the project list shown below:
